When God Calls, Will You Be Ready?

You already know what fitness training does for your body. It's time to try it for your soul. God has a purpose for your life — and Fit for the Cross™ is the free spiritual training program that increases your capacity to live into that purpose.

01
Fuel

What you put in your body affects what your body can do — and spiritually, the same is true. You need spiritual nutrition, and we deliver that through DAILY FUEL: a structured training session designed to nourish your soul.

02
Life

God has a workout for you every day — and life is the gym. The difficult conversation you didn't see coming. The moment you have to choose patience when frustration is winning. The day you have to find joy even though nothing is going your way. Life is where your spiritual capacity is revealed and refined.

03
Adaptation

The evidence that your spiritual training is working. A gradual, measurable shift in how you respond, who you are becoming, and what your life actually looks like. Adaptations are the first-fruits of the Spirit's transformation.

04
Transformation

When the changes God is doing on the inside become visible on the outside. Transformation is the result of many spiritual training cycles faithfully overseen by the Holy Spirit.

You create the conditions.
The Spirit does what only He can do.

This Is What Spiritual Fitness Looks Like.

If you want to look like a bodybuilder, you need to train like a bodybuilder. The same is true for any sport. So what does it look like to train for godliness?

If you want to look like a follower of Jesus, you need to train like He did. He fasted. He prayed. He went into solitude. He read and memorized Scripture. He worshipped. He did the disciplines.

But what people often miss isn't what He did — it's what it produced. The Bible doesn't describe Jesus' shoulders or quads. It describes His kindness, His faithfulness, His love. Scripture calls these the fruits of the Spirit — the visible evidence of a life trained in godliness.

At Fit for the Cross™, we call them spiritual skills. Not because they're easy. Because they can be trained. And like any great training program, over time they become proof that something real is happening — that the training is working.
